I went out for a little walk today. Well not so little. I went to the new promenade in north Tel-Aviv, it's really nice there. I've just been woken up by the sound of the police bomb squad cheking a suspicious suitcase right under my window. Ah, the joys of living in Israel!
Wouldn't be able to go back to sleep now in a gaziolion years.

I spent most of today helping a friend of my mothers with a paper she has to do for a course she's taking. That is to say I was typing, editing and translating it simulataniously. And it isn't even half done yet. Still, it's something to do I suppose, helping friends in need and all that.

I'm getting a little bit worried about my weight. I've been loosing weight slowly, but steadily for about a year now. First there was the stomach trouble, and then I started taking a prescription drug that causes nausea and loss of appetite as a side effect. Well I did it. I started the new job. It was just as mind numbingly dull as I predicted, but I soldiered on. Now I just have to keep it up. it's not as bad as the army actually. There's more work so the time passes faster and oh yeah, I get paid!
